Skateboard House

When I was growing up, I would have killed for this house. Now I'm certain that this house would kill me (if the wife didn't get to me first).

As a side-note, I've actually been without a skateboard for almost a full year now, after an embarrassing and slightly painful showing off exhibition for the neighborhood kids in the middle of the street ended exactly as the adult onlookers predicted. I blame the shoes....

(note to self - never sell things that caused you to bleed while you're still bleeding. You will not negotiate a good price)

iPhone Skateboard

It doesn't have the old skool style of a Powell Peralta board, but if I could still ride one of these without killing myself, I might be a little tempted to get this one. However, after a brief attempt to show off to the neighbourhood kids last summer, resulting in a skateboard flying way to close to a certain M3, and me flying way too hard to the ground, my boarding days are officially over.

You Tube Catchup Time

One of the problems with not having any time to post during the week is that you end up with way too many vids to post directly on the site (not through laziness you understand, just I know how you all hate to scroll down too far..).

So, one post, and a few links so that if you're interested, you can click through and watch. Colbert gets the post, as I'm not sure I've ever posted him up here before, and just so I don't come across as a total Apple fan who doesn't recognize there may be the occasional flaw in some of their stuff (another 2 years with Cingular is probably going to make Kathy shiver in fear..).

Other vids

The iPhone close up, Bush's Legacy, Drunk Stewie, and lots of Craig Ferguson here, here, here, here and here.

Oh yeah, and this one I couldn't resist - 8 year old twins strutting their skateboarding stuff (they're even smaller than Wee Dod was in his video!)
