Paris? Not on this show

This has to be the best attempt at not covering the Paris "story" on TV over here, although I have a feeling the newscaster is on the brink of somekind of breakdown.... .

Paris Back in Jail

She's obviously not happy about it (and apparently got 'dragged' out of court by the marshall while crying for her mommy).

For some reason, the fact that she's going back makes me kinda happy. I'm not really sure why - maybe it's just the concept that despite being ridiculously rich, she still has to pay her dues for screwing up. Only fair if you ask me.

Of course, the chances of her seeing out the rest of her 45 days (or 23 if she's good) are still slim, but there's hope. Next time she gets out though, it'll have to be a big secret, otherwise we'll be doing all this again....

Who should eat all the pies

Apparently, Victoria won the UK Glamour Magazine woman of the year this week, but in complete contrast to our favorite fat guy (newly crowned favorite of course), Mr Viduka, I would strongly suggest she ate a lot more pies.

Maybe the moving to the US effect will hit her soon - I think I managed to put on about 30 or so pounds since I got off the plane - how can you resist a diet of Chipolte, and those extra sized portions. If not, it might be worth a drive across to force a couple of FatBurgers down her throat (and give her a haircut while we're at it). Volunteers please step forward

Everyone's coming back to Grey's Anatomy

Alledgedly, according to E! Online, via TV Squad. I'm not 100% convinced - I kinda got the impression they could start off with almost a whole new cast at the end of the last series, but maybe I'm just in a "everyone's going to die or leave" kinda mood with the end of The Sopranos almost upon us.

Beckham Not Here Yet, Still Getting Way Too Much Publicity

I could claim that I moved over here 10 years ago to get away from all the Beckham frenzie in the UK, but I'd be lying - it was annoying (and got worse after I left from what I can tell), but not enough to emigrate.

Anyway, it looks like the media frenzy is here already, even though no-one watches footy. His pics appear almost daily on the gossip sites, including his latest haircuts. I can only imagine what's going to happen when he actually arrives in the country to live.

Kiss the Ground Halle

Strangest pic of the day goes to Halle Berry. Getting a star in Hollywood apparently drove her to get to her knees and kiss the ground. At least it gets her pic back in the press - has she done any movies lately that were any good?

Baby Scary Spice Born

Scary Spice had her baby earlier this morning over in Santa Monica - to be honest, I didn't even know she lived over here - I presumed after her split with the equally scary Eddie Murphy, she slinked off back to London or something. Anyway, in the wake of no new news about who's the father of Anna Nicole's baby, this one may take the place - Scary (or Melanie to her mother) claims it's definitely Eddie's, but Eddie isn't quite so sure. I thought he was gay anyway - wasn't that the rumour that went around a year or two ago?

Dog goes back to Mexcio

Reports over the weekend are saying that Dog the Bounty Hunter (Mr Chapman to his lawyer) is going to end up being extradited back to Mexico to face the kidnapping counts that came up last year.

Bounty Hunting is illegal in Mexico, so the fact that he got that guy back into the US Justice system who was charged with 86 counts of rape doesn't mean squat down there. I'm just hoping that the US Consulate down there has sorted out some sort of deal for him, otherwise he could be heading back for 4 or 5 years in prison.

Britney Shaved Her Head!

I hope she did this coz she fancied a change, and not because she's cracking up or anything.

Personally, I think it looks pretty good, but I have a feeling the long hair loving American public and press isn't going to be as generous.

Felicity Gets Married

So the only reason I posted this was coz when I first came over here, the only channel I ever watched was the WB. It wasn't the only channel we got, but I think coz it had the baseball on there, and it was the only sport I tended to watch in the summer, I got lazy and used to the programs on the same channel.

So, Felicity used to be a big part of my life (how's that for a confession), although for the life of me I can't really remember much about it. Anyway, the star, Keri Russell got married this weekend (or maybe yesterday). She used to be my favorite girl on TV, but I've moved on now. Seems she has too....

Oh yeah, and Kenny Chesney isn't gay. Yeah, right, whatever.

I'm slightly speechless, although given everyone else who seems to die around her, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Nicole Richie Arrested for DUI

Not for drinking mind you - nope, she confessed (allegedly) to smoking some pot and popping a vicodin or two. Apparently she was driving the wrong way down the freeway when someone called it in.

What might be more scarier is the fact that she weighed only 85lb when she got booked in - 85lb!! That is so low, you could almost get her in your suitcase without being hit by the excess weight charge on United.

I wonder if she was on the phone to Paris when the cops caught up with her?
