Kids these days....
When I was 11, I happily played footy in the street, and had just began my journey into BMX'ing. I watched lots of car racing on TV, but was never allowed to drive one. That's why I'm soooo jealous of this 11 year old kid from Finland, seen here blasting round in the snow in an Evo. Very, very jealous...

New Sti gets US Official Release
So I managed to miss the LA car show last week, and one of the highlights was that the STi is officially released over here.Same power, slightly less torque than last time round (which makes me wonder why) - at least the interior is better I guess.
The photo on the left is actually the rally car, rather than the STi for sale, so delete the roof vent and rear spoiler for true effect (or click on the link up there to see the road going model).
I still haven't decided whether this time round, if I was in the market, I'd get an STi or an Evo - still waiting for proper driving tests in the mags to make my mind up (although I'm not in the market, so neither one will end up on my driveway unless the wife fancies one). The Evo looks better, but Mitsubishi are pissing me off by only offering the MR with the semi-auto box. Do people not understand that we still like to change gear properly, with a real clutch under your left foot?

Evo X in Full
Finally, some pics, but after all the press photos, seeing one on the road was kinda disappointing. The front still looks good - that big gaping mouth to suck in all the air for the intercooler looks kinda cool and mean), but the back end and 3/4 view - I'm not so sure - it looks kinda fat to be honest. Maybe it's just the gun metal gray instead of red, or the lack of lights shining directly on it or something.Anyway, Moto Authority are the ones with these pics and more, so check it out here.

Evo X Techie Details
Not of the engine output (yet), but if you're interested in what all the random letters mean that are associated with getting power to the wheels, this is your link.

Evo X and New STI
Neither car is out yet, but that hasn't stopped Road and Track putting together a comparison already. All based on what information they know, some educated guesses, and a little work in Photoshop, if you're desperately scanning the Net for more info on either (or both) of these cars, it's a decent place to start.Get ready for the frenzy to build in the coming months (and I'm probably going to get a little excited and carried away as usual, even if I'm not getting either one this time out)

Evo X in the flesh!!
The date of launch must be getting closer - it seems like we've been talking about this car (or maybe it's just me and Wallace). Anyway, spotted on the streets by someone desperately trying to video and drive at the same time, below is the resulting video. We've also got some stills here which show you a bit more of the front end. Please, please be as good or better than the IX.....

LC Dumps Jason, Clarkson Hates Old People
Completely old news, but I just found out coz the new season of The Hills has started, and the wife is fixated on the TV, Lauren saw sense and dumped Jason. Turns out this broke back in August, but I wasn't paying attention in the slightest (ahh, I remember the days, temperatures were above freezing, and I had my summer tires on the car).
Speaking of cars, a gratuitous pic of the "old" Evo IX (X marks the spot later in the year, and everyone is eagerly awaiting the first reviews - please, please, please let it handle just as good as it's older relative), accompanied by a recent Jeremy Clarkson review. Apparently old people get in the way, and shouldn't be let out of the house - and I thought you grew out of these thoughts once you finished school/uni and realized you were one of those "old" people the young kids refer to. Guess not, but great review.
